    Description

    Lorem Healthcare is currently seeking a skilled Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to residents of a specific unit. You will be responsible for overseeing the nursing care and services during your shift, including supervising a team of professional and non-professional members.

    Qualifications:

    • Dedicated to delivering top-notch care
    • Caring and empathetic
    • Graduate from an approved nursing school
    • Possess a current Practical Nurse license in Pennsylvania
    • Demonstrate strong leadership skills
    • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
    • Works effectively with individuals

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Administer medications following all relevant policies and regulations
    • Complete accurate resident assessments for effective care planning and evaluation
    • Provide timely and legible documentation
    • Communicate important resident care information to physicians
    • Assist in implementing physician orders and paperwork
    • Proactively engage with residents and families to keep them informed
    • Supervise care quality, nurse aide documentation, and provide necessary support
    • Deliver treatments and procedures
    • Support Nurse Aides in direct care provision
    • Maintain high ethical standards and compliance with regulations and policies
