:

Serves as the employee responsible for Accounts Receivable for the MPI entity with back-up support for all others.

Assist with Accounts Payable as necessary:


  • Implements AR functions in the GL system for various transactions, initiates the setup of new customers and maintains existing customer records.
  • Handles AR with cash receipts, collections, scanning and sending out customer invoice.
  • Applies payments to the appropriate accounts and maintains precise financial records.
  • Monitors and manages A/R aging reports systematically to track the status of receivables.
  • Conducts monthly reconciliations of GL accounts associated with A/R invoices.
  • Maintains a meticulous approach to these tasks, adhering to established financial procedures and standards, to uphold the reliability and transparency of the company's financial records.
  • Backs up AP while entering and matching invoices.
  • Uses accounting software to maintain records and prepare reports.
  • Manages employee mail and phone calls.
  • Coordinates with and prepares reports for CFO and upper management.
  • Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
:


  • Degree or certification in accounting
  • Food or Logistics company experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in AR function
  • A selfstarter with strong personal drive and excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; mastery of Excel
  • Prior experience working in a private, familyheld environment preferred

Pay:

$50, $55,000.00 per year
