For the neonatal intensive care unit Neo A at the Center for Children and Adolescent Medicine, we are looking for a Medical Assistant (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible in full-time/part-time, permanent position.

What do you do in your job? Sarah Merlitz, Medical Assistant:

In my job as a medical assistant in the neonatal intensive care unit, I support the nursing staff, for example, in caring for spontaneous premature babies, preparing oral medications, and setting up beds for new admissions.

In addition to nursing tasks, I also handle orders and maintain constant communication with our suppliers. After all, without the right materials, we cannot care for our patients. This also includes daily stocking of supplies.

At our base, we are the first point of contact for parents, companions, doctors, etc., as well as for receiving and handling breast milk and answering phone calls.
