Your tasks:

  • You are responsible for the goal- and profit-oriented optimization of a partial assortment in close coordination with the Category Manager.
  • You design the customer-oriented assortment selection and are jointly responsible for the calculation of the items.
  • You maintain intensive contact with our suppliers and cultivate a sustainable cooperation.
  • The implementation and coordination of customer-oriented marketing measures is also part of your tasks.
  • You conduct market and competition observations, identify trends and opportunities at an early stage, and lay the foundation for optimal assortment design.

Your profile:

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or a business or nutrition science degree.
  • Ideally, you have professional experience in purchasing or category management in the food retail sector or a similar position, with an interest in the meat/fish sector.
  • You have a self-reliant working style, as well as organizational and analytical skills, and are a team player with negotiation skills and a confident demeanor.
  • You have a good command of MS Office applications and ideally also have experience with merchandise management systems.
