Events & Logistics Coordinator

General Function:

Reporting to the Director of Education and Professional Development, this position will manage the backbone of all ACA, New England Events.

This includes the Spring Conference, webinars, trainings, in-person events, gatherings, and more.

This position is designed for a logístical, organizational, and administrative professional, who loves working for a regional based, membership association and practices the highest level of customer service.

This position will be hybrid in nature, following an onboarding period.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of all aspects of the association's inperson and virtual events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, networking sessions, meetings, and social events.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, registration setup, catering, transportation, and evaluation ensuring a safe and engaging experience for attendees.
  • Coordinate with attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors to fulfill their requirements and expectations.
  • Help to develop event budgets, track expenses, and ensure events are delivered within budgetary constraints.
  • Work with marketing personnel in creating promotional materials and marketing campaigns to drive attendance and participation in events.
  • Provide onsite support during events, overseeing registration, managing volunteers, and addressing any safety or logístical concerns that arise.
  • Actively sit on the Conference Committee.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Desired:


  • Experience in related field or experience in customer service preferred
  • Technically astute and proficient using Microsoft Office or aptitude for learning.
  • Event technology skills, i.e. Zoom, Google
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team to plan, organize, and prioritize work while managing multiple deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail

Pay:
$53, $55,000.00 per year
