What to expect as a Prüfungsleiter at Mazars

As a Prüfungsleiter, you will be responsible for the professional management and motivation of project teams, while also acting as the central point of contact for our clients.

Your role will involve conducting annual and consolidated financial statement audits in the industrial, service, and/or trade sectors, both nationally and internationally.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced auditors, providing you with a steep learning curve and valuable experience.

In addition, you may have the opportunity to work abroad or participate in cross-functional projects in areas such as innovation and sustainability/ESG, providing you with a new perspective on your work.

You will also have the flexibility to work from home or in the office, with a regulated overtime policy and subsidized savings accounts for longer breaks, in addition to 30 days of vacation per year.

What you bring to the table

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree and relevant work experience in annual financial statement audits according to HGB and/or in the audit of reporting packages according to IFRS.

You should also have some experience in leadership, along with strong communication skills. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are also essential, as well as fluency in German and English.
