The IT Systems Technician is responsible for the technical support, installation, configuration,

operation of Cryoport's technology systems. The IT Systems Technician requires the ability to

effectively communicate with vendors and staff, maintain accurate records, set-up workstations,

troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and transport proper hardware and software equipment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to)

Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of Windows systems,
Provide assistance to Managed Service Provider (MSP) as needed.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hardware and software for desktops, laptops, mobile

devices, printers, and other peripherals.

Work with vendors to resolve issue with hardware that is under support by the

manufacturer.

Maintain accurate records of IT assets and perform physical inventory of hardware,

peripherals, or other devices deployed and in-stock.

Ensure new hire desk or cubicle locations have all necessary equipment prior to their

start date including, but not limited to power strip, monitor(s), keyboard, mouse, and

docking station.

Provide onboarding and offboarding support or fulfill specific related tasks as requested

by management.

Will occasionally need to setup or troubleshoot user systems or peripherals.
Develop process or user documentation or instructions as needed.
Perform other duties or tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

At least more than one year of related professional experience.
Over one year of Windows 10/11, Laptop, and Desktop setup experience.
Over one year of IT experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows systems.
Familiarity with Help Desk techniques a plus.
Experience with Apple and Windows hardware and software installation, configuration,

and troubleshooting.
