Job description
New Patient Scheduler is often the first contact a patient has of Capitol GI.

In this role, you provide administrative support and coordination for aspects of patient care for both new and/or established patients.

This role highlights features of customer service and administrative responsibilities.


Requirements:

• Manage inbound referrals and track referral requests.
• Followup with primary care physician offices.
• Obtain patient demographic and insurance information.
• Preregister new patients and schedule for consultation appointment.
• Ensures registration information is complete and accurate prior to patients appointment.
• Ensures insurance copays and eligibility are completed.
• Answer multiline phones in a timely manner.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information, maintain patient records, files and other correspondence.
• Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures; reporting compliance issues and recommended changes to Lead.
• Serves and protects the medical community by adhering to professional standards, medical group policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills.
• Must possess the ability to multitask and problem solve on the spot.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent phone etiquette.
• PC proficiency required.
• Ability to work productively and independently.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
• Must have EPIC experience.

Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour
