    Description
    We are looking for a

    Senior IT Auditor

    to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.


    Responsibilities:
    Plan and perform IT audit assignments to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of IT, business processes, and related controls

    Draft, prepare and submit audit findings and present them to senior management

    Maintain up-to-date knowledge and contribute to ongoing key risk indicators for the IT environment, industry technology risks, and general insurance industry practice

    Prioritize audit procedures by thinking strategically and understanding business processes within the broader context of the Company operations

    Assist in the tracking of team operations including audit status, issue status, and budgets

    Test design and operating effectiveness of key application controls and IT general controls for significant IT applications to support management's SOX assessment

    Provide support, mentoring, and feedback to audit team members throughout the audit

    Provide assistance with onboarding and ongoing support to new team members


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, MIS, or Computer Science

    CISA or in process of receiving CISA

    3+ years of experience in IT audit or related field

    Broad knowledge of generally accepted auditing practices, Sarbanes Oxley, and IT compliance standards and frameworks.

    Demonstrates strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills

    A foundational understanding of IT risk, processes, and controls

    Proficient written and verbal communication skills
