- Proficiently manage client records, appointments, and billing.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, demonstrating good communication skills and attention to detail in all interactions.
- Maintain a professional and courteous phone etiquette when communicating with clients, referring veterinarians, and pharmacies.
- Foster positive and professional relationships with all hospital staff members, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Ensure accurate preparation and submission of laboratory samples, following established protocols and maintaining attention to detail.
- Assist with the accurate filling of prescriptions, explaining medications to pet owners and addressing any related inquiries.
- Manage inventory and medical supply needs, maintaining appropriate levels and ensuring availability for dermatology procedures and treatments.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and perform maintenance tasks to ensure proper daily function and compliance with safety standards.
- Effectively manage communication within the clinic, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed to ensure efficient workflow.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a veterinary setting, particularly in dermatology or a related field, is desirable.
- Proficiency in using a veterinary practice management software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
- Professional demeanor, with the ability to present oneself in a positive and professional manner.
- Good interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with clients and staff members.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively, managing competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
