AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTER - PREOP / PACU NURSE

North Queens Surgical Center, is looking for a Full Time PACU Nurse to join our multispecialty, Joint Commission accredited ambulatory surgery located in Bayside, New York.

Registered Nurses must have skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the care of the patient, and to ensure that the patient is prepared for discharge and providing the necessary education to the patient and his/her responsible caregiver.

Ambulatory Services Provided:

Ophthalmology

Orthopedics

Pain Management

Podiatry

ENT / Plastics

Pediatrics

Urology

Requirements:

Experience working in an outpatient setting
IV Skills
Registered Nurse Licensed (RN) New York State
Must have current BLS and ACLS certification (PALS within 3 months)
Two years of PACU, ICU or ER experience is desired

NQSC provides:
Competitive salary
Monday - Friday flexible & 1-2 Saturdays per month a must for FT hours (~ 6am - 7pm depending on shift)
