Project Manager/Scrum Master

Position Overview:
PTI is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager/ScrumMaster to support our client, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

This is a remote position, contingent upon award, offering the opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to meaningful projects in the healthcare sector.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Work closely with other HHS-OIG contractor teams to enhance systems integration capabilities and facilitate collaborative efforts to improve processes and workflows related to the ServiceNow platform.


Manage and maintain existing out-of-the-box ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to ITSM, SPM, Security Operations, and Asset Management and implement enhancements to improve the performance and usability of these modules.


Identify opportunities to enhance the user experience for HHS-OIG stakeholders on the ServiceNow platform and implement improvements to streamline processes and increase user satisfaction.


Ensure the sustainability of the ServiceNow platform by meeting ongoing security requirements, performing mid-server maintenance, and implementing necessary upgrades, and proactively address any issues to minimize disruptions to platform operations.


Provide architecture, configuration, and administration support for ServiceNow and any integrating platforms, and ensure that the ServiceNow platform aligns with organizational goals and technical standards.


Provide support for special projects as needed, including project management, data management, or architecture development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes.


Offer overall strategic planning and expertise for OIG's usage of the ServiceNow platform and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement to maximize the value of the platform for the organization.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master, preferably in a ServiceNow environment.
  • Strong understanding of systems integration principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Agile development methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) and/or Scrum (e.g., CSM) is preferred.
