**Description**
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
High School graduate or equivalent.
Supervisory experience, including establishing and keeping production schedule.
Ability to read and write English and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
Familiarity with standard shipping/receiving and warehousing procedures.
**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and miscellaneous carts.
Ability to operate a telephone
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Work with the Department Supervisors to ensure that quality control is maintained for all goods sorted and the maximum amount of quality goods is available.
Ensure the merchandise pricing conforms to established pricing policies.
Use in the most efficient manner all personnel under your supervision, both employees and beneficiaries.
Conduct regular inspections of the Departments to ensure the constant processing of materials and as a deterrent to pilfering.
Train personnel so that all employees will be able to do any job as necessary by personnel requirements.
Supervise and organize the flow of materials into and out of the Departments.
Provide security for the Departments and the materials stored in them.
Eliminate stashes of merchandise located in all Departments, break areas or elsewhere and take necessary disciplinary action for individuals involved.
Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and reporting all safety violations to the Production Manager and the Safety designate. Ensure that all necessary corrective measures and repairs are completed in a timely manner.
Adhere to the policy that no items may be taken, given, lent or purchased except by the explicit approval of the Administrator.
Secure all Departments at the end of the day by ensuring that everyone has left the areas that all points of access to the Departments are closed and secured.
Assure that established personnel policies and directives (smoking regulation, lunch / break times, Etc.) are followed by all assigned personnel (beneficiaries and employees) and the disciplinary measures are taken when necessary.
Assure all Departments adhere to Review standards.
Overtime: Any and all overtime must have the written approval of the supervisor. The supervisors initials must appear on the timecard besides the overtime hours.
Other written or verbal duties as may be assigned, from time to time by the Production Manager, the Center Administrator or their designated representative.
