Description

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Support residents with mobility, including assistance with walking and transferring
• Support residents with medication management and administration as directed by healthcare professionals
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote mental stimulation and emotional wellbeing
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
• Ensure resident safety by following established protocols and procedures
• Respect and uphold resident rights and dignity at all times
• Provide compassionate care for residents with dementia or memory care needs
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Previous experience in assisted living or a related healthcare setting is preferred but not required
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A Caregiver certification is required
• Valid driver's license for transportation purposes (if applicable)
• Knowledge of dementia care principles and techniques is a plus
• Ability to lift and move residents with assistance as needed
• Basic first aid knowledge is desirable
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues
• Demonstrated commitment to providing highquality care and support to seniors
