Job DescriptionA leading wholesale distributor of paint, hardware and lumber is searching for a Customer Service Representative with at least 1 year of customer service experience This is a fully onsite position in Port Washington, NY where you ll be responsible for processing PO s from order taking all the way through to completion.

This is a people-friendly, entry-level role that is perfect for a tech-savvy professional who's ready to dive into the world of paint, hardware, and lumber distribution and make a big impact on a brand that has an amazing team spirit and positive reputation in the marketplace

Pay Range:
$50, 000 - $55, 000 DOEResponsibilitiesEfficiently process and manage customer orders from initiation to completion across phone, email, fax, and online platformsDeliver superior customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining high satisfaction levels through effective communicationPartner with sales, accounts payable, and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and resolve any discrepanciesIdentify opportunities for upselling and support sales objectives through proactive customer engagementUtilize Excel and our proprietary system for accurate order entry, reporting, and data analysisNavigate the fast-paced environment with agility, ensuring timely order processing and adapting to shifting priorities as neededInvestigate and resolve order or invoice issues, employing critical thinking to maintain accuracy and customer trustRequirements1-3 years of customer service experience, with experience in complete order managementProficiency in Excel and the ability to adapt to new and proprietary technologiesExceptional communication skills, both over the phone and through emailComfortable in a fast-paced setting, juggling multiple tasks and adapting to changing priorities as neededSkill in resolving issues efficiently to ensure customer satisfactionTeam-oriented, ready to support and collaborate with othersExperience in inside sales or upselling is preferredBilingual abilities in English/Chinese or English/Spanish are a big plusBenefitsHealth, Dental and Vision insurance401K planSick/Vacation daysTraining and supportGrowth opportunitiesBonus potentialApply now#J-18808-Ljbffr
