Overview:


The Supply Chain Market Analyst plays a critical role in leveraging analysis expertise and market research skills to optimize supply chain operations, identify market trends, and drive strategic decision-making.

This role involves analyzing global supply solutions, understanding their impact on supply chain processes, and conducting market research to inform adoption strategies.

The Market Analyst is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs & translating them into actionable requirements.

They work closely with the Product manager and development teams to gather, analyze, and document business process and user requirements.

In addition, the Market Analyst can create and maintain data visualizations, and transforming data into information to support business decision making.


The role should also have an innovative mindset to come up with creative solutions to budget limitations, communication barriers and training needs, interacting with the Analytics and Insights, other Supply Chain teams and partners.

It includes the mapping of current value streams, identification of improvement opportunities, and design/deployment of innovative solutions.

This role provides the opportunity to influence our thinking on how business process, data, & solutions should be managed.

This person must be able to build a trusted partnership with our clients and provide consultative and advisory services as needed.


Be current on trends and developments in the market with an eye on bringing new advancements into our portfolio of solutions.

This role will be part of the Global Planning and Analytics Product Development team.


Responsibilities:


WHAT YOU WILL DO

Requirements Gathering & Stakeholder Management:


  • Collaborate with supply chain stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and define functionality requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit requirements, prioritize features, and resolve conflicts.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, milestones, and risks effectively.

Market Research & Technology Trends

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in supply chain management.
  • Monitor industry developments, competitor strategies, and market dynamics to anticipate future trends and opportunities.
  • Assess the potential impact of new technologies on supply chain operations and recommend adoption strategies.

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain performance, utilization, and market trends.
  • Generate actionable insights and recommendations to optimize supply chain processes, improve efficiency, and drive cost savings.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders and support decisionmaking.
  • Collaborate with Product / Technology teams and vendors to implement upgrades, integrations, and customization to meet supply chain requirements.

Change Management & Training

  • Support change management efforts related to implementation, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Assist in developing training materials, conduct user training sessions, and provide ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of product solutions.
  • Monitor user feedback, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to optimize user experience and maximize software ROI.

Desired Skills & Experience:

ABOUT YOU

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or closely related field.


Knowledge & Years of Experience:


  • 3+ years working as a business analyst, ideally in the QSR industry
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Market Researcher, or in a related role within the supply chain domain.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, software systems, and technology trends.
  • Knowledge of and Proficiency in analysis tools and techniques, requirements elicitation, and documentation.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to adapt to change, work independently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
