Municipal Maintenance Company is a family-owned and operated business in the municipal water and wastewater construction and service industry in NJ & PA.

With over 65 years in business, we have a team of 70 employees. Our company is known for its professionalism, financial stability, agility, and diverse capabilities.

We prioritize self-sufficiency and perform most tasks in-house, including mechanical, electrical, vactor and jetting, machining, blasting, painting, and bypass pumping.

Additionally, we own 40 bypass pumps, 5 vactor trucks, 10 cranes, and over 50 service vehicles.

As the region's exclusive distributor for several major pump and equipment brands we can offer our customers turn-key projects and eliminate middle-men.

Our management and ownership primarily consist of engineers, enhancing our capabilities. This broad range of services and resources allows us to be highly competitive in the industry.


Project Management Division:

This group in our company currently consists of 3 individuals, an electrical estimator, a project manager and one principal/owner. We are looking to add 1 or 2 more to expand this group. This new hire will have the opportunity to grow into a senior management role and run the group.


Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team.

As a Project Manager at MMC, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing infrastructure projects from start to finish.

This includes coordinating with various stakeholders, bidding, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring the successful completion of projects.


Duties:


  • Manage all aspects of projects, including planning, design review, construction, and commissioning
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
  • Conduct construction estimating and cost analysis
  • Oversee project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timelines are met
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses to ensure financial targets are achieved
  • Utilize project management software and tools to track project milestones and deliverables
  • Review engineering drawings, schematics, and other technical documents
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in water infrastructure project management
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders at all levels
  • Detailoriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
