Position Summary Information
Position Summary

The main responsibilities of the Clinical Services Specialist include securing and overseeing Field Placements, using our online field experience placement tracking system, collecting assessment data from faculty, clearances from students, and working with clerical staff to verify that all collected clearances are clear before allowing students to enter the schools.

This position also requires ensuring all students meet GPA and other criteria for admission to each field experience.

In addition, this position requires working with faculty to determine the requirements and expectations of students and cooperating teachers for each experience, and then communicating these things to each constituent.

This position also requires securing Affiliation Agreements. The Dean may assign additional duties on an as needed basis as they relate to Educator Preparation Office responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.
Three years professional experience working in a K-12 environment.

Strong organizational skills, strong communication skills, both involving interpersonal communication in small groups, and the ability to speak in front of larger groups.

The candidate should be dependable.

Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, ability to learn software applications utilized to track student qualifications, record and track placement sites.

Successful performance in an on-campus interview and pass a criminal background check.
Experience working with diverse populations in an education setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing and/or creating affiliation agreements
Experience using Anthology Software
Master's Degree in Education
