Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
• Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar
• Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing processes
• Maintain patient records, including updating medical history and personal information
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Handle patient inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service

Skills:

• Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance
• Familiarity with medical records management and documentation
• Experience with medical scheduling systems
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
• Familiarity with dental office procedures and terminology is a plus
