- Develop engineering design packages and build deliverables in compliance with regulatory codes, area standards and specific technology needs.
- Collaborate with regional domain leads for domain specific expertise support in build projects.
- Select, lead and direct the external service providers to support project objectives.
- Oversee the development of the site capital plan and track progress against the plan throughout the year.
- Review status of projects and budgets, coordinate schedules and prepare status reports.
- Coordinate input from area disciplines and subject matter authorities to ensure the design meets the specific needs of the business.
- Support the development of front-end project design for large capital projects.
- Partner with regional leadership to identify work process enhancements.
- Standardize engineering work processes for the site based on regional practices.
- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Minimum of three years' experience leading capital build projects
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Experience leading third party resources to deliver business results
- Knowledge of environmental health and safety standards and international standards and codes related to build projects and construction safety
- Knowledge in food industry, such as oil refining or packaging technologies/operations
