    CoWorx is sourcing for a CNC Lead Programmer for one of our top clients in Southington, CT.

    Job Description:
    As the CNC / Fabrication Lead, you will be responsible for programming, machine set-up, and oversight of CNC lathes, mills, industrial routers, and other machinery used in the fabrication of lighting components. You will manage the fabrication team to ensure manufacturing plans are met and collaborate closely with engineering to develop new product designs.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    - Manage area metrics and provide regular reporting.
    - Create or specify tools and fixtures to support fabrication operations.
    - Schedule jobs, assign tasks, and ensure on-time delivery of work orders.
    - Work closely with engineering to develop new product designs.
    - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

    Minimum Requirements:
    - High school diploma.
    - Machine shop or machinist certificate.
    - Minimum ten years of experience in CNC programming, machining, and tool making.
    - Proven experience operating CNC machinery and precision measurement tools.
    - Excellent understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
    - Ability to read and interpret drawings and instructions.
    - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
