  • Fri, 1st Shift 8am 5pm

TERMS:
Full-time, Salaried, Exempt, Paid Bi-Weekly

We specialize in dry powder blending to nourish communities with high quality products such as pancake mix, cake mix, boxed meals, and drink sticks.

We have over 300 dedicated employees working safely in a manufacturing environment with over ten production lines.


JOB SUMMARY:
This is a developmental role on the Supply Chain Team.

You will work with all departments in the organization and support the Supply Chain Team across the product lifecycle from raw materials to finished goods.

A great role to learn all steps in the manufacturing process.

This role will support the Materials Managers on the Supply Chain team on key responsibility such as following up with suppliers, Purchase Order follow up, confirm production output, and verify in-bound and out-bound shipments.


  • Followup on Purchase Orders (PO) with suppliers to verify expected receipt date and quantity.
  • Communicate timely with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders on any delays or adjustments.
  • Verify production output and communicate results via dashboards.
  • Verify inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods with Shipping and communicate results via dashboards.
  • Perform ondemand reconciliation and adjustments to workinprocess inventory.
  • Support production forecast adjustments by updating the warehouse management system.
  • Partner with inventory team on physical cycle counts and reconciliations.
  • Cultivate great communication with customers, operations, and warehouse teams on schedules, inventory, and production.
  • Support and suggest continuous improvement projects on processes, planning, materials management, and inventory practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SKILLS:


  • Great communication with all levels of the organization, customers, and suppliers.
  • Detail oriented to maintain data accuracy and stay organized.
  • Influence and partner with all internal departments to solve problems, design standard operating procedures and meet the customers' demands.
  • Be data driven, to track and report on supply planning and inventory timely.
  • Heavy use of Microsoft Excel
  • Good math skills

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • 3+ years' experience in materials purchasing or planning management or manufacturing environments.
  • Proficient in MS Suite including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and
SharePoint

  • Fishbowl warehouse management software (WMS) experience preferred.
  • Red Zone experience preferred.

Pay:
$40, $60,000.00 per year

Experience:
