    Senior Project Engineer – Equipment Design and Process Improvement

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Leads assigned initiatives to develop and improve equipment processes, procedures, component sourcing, design standards, and provides necessary associate training.
    • Assists in the development, tracking, and maintenance of filling equipment design standards, including PLC processes, Hydraulic designs, Controls Designs, Mechanical assemblies, preferred component/supplier lists, and integration of standard equipment options.
    • Assists with the design and execution of new customer equipment, product retrofits, system enhancements, and warranty repairs.
    • Communicates regularly with management to review progress on assigned tasks and potential design improvements.
    • Provides support to the project engineering team to exceed project targets.
    • Engages in Research and Development of new technologies and their application to Fluid Fill.
    • Takes on additional responsibilities and duties as deemed necessary by management.

    Qualifications:

    Education and/or Experience:

    • BS degree in engineering or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
    • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a technical team.
    • Proficient in MS Project and MS Office Suite.
    • Experience in strategic planning.

    Leadership and Communication Skills:

    • Capable of effectively presenting information to top management, engineering groups, and suppliers.
    • Able to work effectively with all company levels.
    • Proficient in achieving tasks and projects on time and within budget, aligning with company goals.
    • Skilled at working under pressure, adapting to shifting priorities, and exercising good business judgment.
