Great content can only be made if creators are paid fairly for what they produce. So we provide a simple, affordable license to businesses.

We then pay royalties from our license to our rights holders; from major Hollywood studios to local TV production companies.

Without MPLC, these performances would still occur. But they would infringe copyrights and deprive our rightsholders' of the money they are entitled to. Our license enables customers to run their businesses compliantly and with peace of mind.


We work hard to educate organisations about the importance of respecting copyright, and MPLC is a key player in the entertainment and intellectual property ecosystem.


What's the situation?:


A junior-level role looking after the day to day administration of US HR with some facilities/health and safety tasks to take the pressure off our US team.


HR duties

  • Assisting with recruitment in the US
  • Managing the onboarding process end to end
  • Coordinating mandatory training for all employees
  • Firstline response to HR queries
  • Gathering data & collating case notes
  • Keeping accurate and up to date files & records
  • Gatekeeper of all US HR forms, letters & file notes
  • HR Reporting
  • Ensuring timely completion of timesheets and liaising with payroll for any updates
  • Managing the offboarding process end to end

Facilities and H&S duties (10% of role)

  • Arranging access, car parking, etc. for new starters
  • Removing access, car parking, etc. for leavers
  • Reporting any maintenance issues to the landlord/managing agent
  • Ensuring we are up to date with health and safety requirements and training, e.g. floor wardens
  • Adhoc office management tasks & requests (to be monitored)

Who are you?:


  • You are proactive to situations and seek out opportunities to help others
  • You are a strong communicator & written skills
  • You have working knowledge of HR within the US with a focus on California

  • This is a Monday to Friday role working 4 hours per day
  • 2 days in our Ladera Heights LA office with the rest working remotely
  • Hourly rate between $252
