    Systems Architect (Senior)

    Clearance Required: TS/SCI

    Minimum Years' Experience: 12

    Springfield, VA/Chantilly

    Overall Assignment Description:

    Senior-level Systems Architects play a key role in designing and developing solutions for complex application challenges. This includes API design, data services, platform services, cloud services, and infrastructure services, all tailored to meet user needs and align with strategic objectives and Enterprise Architecture.

    Duties may involve:

    • Overseeing Mid-Level and Junior-Level systems architects in designing, developing, maintaining, and documenting solution architectures to ensure alignment with Enterprise architecture and requirements.
    • Analyzing user requirements, procedures, and issues to automate or enhance existing systems, as well as assessing computer system capabilities and constraints in workflow and scheduling.
    • Aiding Mid-level and Junior-level systems architects in proposing changes to solution architecture designs based on requirement analysis and new technologies.

    Skills and Experience:

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or relevant STEM fields, or equivalent additional experience.
    • Senior-level or higher experience in government or industry in fields such as Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), or Intelligence Community's (IC) Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).
    • Proficiency with the Cameo architecture tool.
    • Experience with (or understanding of) Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).

    Desired:

    • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM program.
    • Understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, tools, and languages.
    • Federated Enterprise Architect Certifications such as Certified Enterprise Architect.
    • Previous experience with NGA and/or NSG/ASG programs/projects.
    • Prior exposure to IC or DoD programs/projects.
