- A bachelor's degree or higher
- Preschool through grade three (P-3) teacher certification;
- Experience teaching in general education preschool programs;
- Knowledge of the school district's curriculum and assessment desired
- Experience in implementing developmentally appropriate preschool curricula;
- Ability to work on site during the hours required
- Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
- Required criminal background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal alien status
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
- Work within a consultation model with relevant school district, private provider, and local Head
- Visit classrooms regularly to model, coach, informally observe using structured observation
- Assist novice teachers;
- Provide professional development as needed.
- Provide support to general education classroom teachers to address the needs of children with
- Coach preschool teachers on the implementation of the Pyramid Model for Supporting Social

Qualifications:
REPORTS TO:
Assigned Pre-K Administrator
Job Responsibilities:
decrease referrals to special education and maximize general education classroom teachers' ability
to support all students.
Pyramid Model Innovations).
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
10-month salary and benefits as determined by the Board. This is a PreK Grant funded position.
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the
Board's policy on evaluation of certified staff.
