The Administrative Assistant will be expected to demonstrate professionalism in the execution of clerical duties, including record keeping, preparing office related correspondence, responding to callers, visitors and performing other daily task such as assisting the Security Operations Manager with the preparation of reports/audits.

The position reports directly to the Security Operations Manager and/or designated supervisor.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform various clerical duties including typing, filling, opening and distributing mail and answering the telephone
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area
  • Produces all correspondence (agendas, letters, memorandums, training / staff meetings)
  • Maintains department files in an organized manner
  • Ensures the monthly billing of appropriate N.C.C. accounts, and event holders
  • Reviews department time and attendance through the NCC payroll system in preparation for semimonthly payroll
  • Monitors overtime
  • Reviews payroll matters with the Security Operations Manager, and or Finance

Experience and Skills:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one (1) years' of experience as an Administrative Assistant or other office related experience in a fast paced, professional environment
  • Demonstrates ability to multitask effectively; highly organized and have strong problem solving skills
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of general office procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, for database management and recordkeeping
