Duties:


  • Oversee cradle to grave intensive logistics management to support a complex, major weapons system from concept through field deployment.
  • Perform the full range of planning, liaison, contract monitoring, equipment, organizational interface, and control of other government elements supporting the acquisition effort and logistics phases of field exercises and tests.
  • Coordinates with representatives of other components and organizations concerning precedent setting, controversial, sensitive and/or complex issues and their impact or potential impact on military requirements.
  • Interprets Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF) regulations, policies and directives for implementation pertaining to logistics management.
  • Develops an agile and comprehensive integrated product support strategy throughout the system lifecycle that tailors to assigned C5ISR program.
  • Develops innovative Integrated Product Support Strategies to enable rapid release of agile software products.

  • Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
  • Selectee must meet the DoDI requirements applicable to the Career Category of Program Management and Practitioner Career Level Certification must be met within 60 months.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
  • Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Specialized experience is defined as the following duties: 1.) Execution of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) or Integrated Product Support (IPS) for major complex systems that encompass new and emerging technologies or complicated fielding requirements.

2)Manage the processes of planning

  • ILS/IPS deficiencies throughout the research, development and acquisition process. 3.)Initiate and maintain contacts with triservice and key contractor personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH02 or GS11)

Education:


Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
