Provides professional customer service by obtaining and verifying necessary demographic and insurance information. Responsible for making and scheduling future patient appointments. Oversees the clinic schedule entirely and works closely with administration and Billing Department.

  • Coordinates and reschedules patient appointments correctly as needed.
  • Greets patients in polite, prompt, helpful manner and provides any necessary instructions/directions
  • Obtains and enters patient demographics; updates patient information, as necessary, in the computer system to maintain accuracy for billing.
  • Conducts self in accordance with and follows all procedure policies in the Razzack & Associates Employee Handbook.
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
  • Work closely with the billing department to inform patients regarding referral requirements or network coverages if needed.
  • Works professionally with entire department to ensure fair and equal division of labor by following teamwork mentality.
  • Based on administration/physician request, maintain and update current information on clinic schedule ensuring that patients are scheduled appropriately.
  • Utilizes and adapts any breakdown paperwork/templates provided for accurate completion of job duties.
  • Ensures responsibilities are completed in a timely and effective manner in accordance with specific guidelines.
  • Assist and act as liaison for the administration in patient scheduling issues, training, communication and problem solving.
As a Medical Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive timely and appropriate care.

Your ability to effectively schedule appointments, coordinate with medical staff, and provide excellent customer service will contribute to the overall efficiency of our healthcare facility.
