Job Summary

This position at Commonwealth Equipment is an entry level position. This position will also be tasked as a parts delivery driver when necessary.

As a Yard Helper you will be required to clean machines, including shoveling, digging, scraping, pressure washing etc, to remove material and debris.

You will be required to assist Yard/Field technicians as needed. This is an outside work position. You will be exposed to the elements on a daily basis. Working conditions are at the discretion of your supervisor.

Commonwealth Equipment prides itself on developing our staff to their highest potential. With this position, there is potential to move into a Yard or Road Mechanic role.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Clean machines as needed using pressure washers/tools to remove debris

Assist yard mechanics with supervision on various repairs

Assist Field mechanics with supervision on location as needed

Deliver parts when necessary

Assist in loading and unloading parts as needed

Assist in general maintenance tasks

Assist warehouse personnel as needed

Any other tasks your supervisor deems necessary

Compensations and Benefits

Pay rate:
Starting at $20.00 hourly
