Summary of Position

  • The Manager, Corporate & Brand Communications is responsible for supporting the department across its various areas of oversight corporate and internal communications, government relations, diversity initiatives and brand initiatives and communications. The Manager will be responsible for aligning with the department's Vice President on prioritization of their work to support the overall business objectives of the department.
Responsibilities also include contributing to departmental management and carrying out the functional job tasks associated with the department's business purpose commensurate with the following responsibilities:


Responsibilities

  • Write and edit written correspondence and materials including corporate press materials and press releases
  • Handle and support in correspondence with Press, Industry partners, Congressional offices for events or other business needs
  • Manage and communicate corporate communications announcements/timing to key stakeholders
  • Manage logistics and gather key materials for company's employee meetings
  • Manage and help execute internal and external events including postevent activities
  • Write and edit bespoke newsletter entries as needed
  • Write, coordinate and support department in making press announcements
  • Identify pitch angles and help draft media pitches
  • Maintain updated editorial calendars and contributes to pitch angle ideas
  • Identify pressworthy soundbites from various panels and events
  • Regularly identify new press targets and provide research on relevant press coverage or information as needed
  • Manage internal and external communications including with all crossfunctional partners, talent/talent reps, partners, among others
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on DEIA related efforts
  • Monitor, identify, research and draft submissions for appropriate industry awards for company and/or senior executives
  • Update executive bios as needed
  • Manage coordination with thirdparty orgs for resource cards
  • Manage in creating briefing documents for press interviews
  • Help manage executive photo shoots and media training
  • Liaise with department's communications agency
  • Support in processing invoices for payment and corresponds with vendors as needed
  • Partner with HR in leading employee events
  • Other job duties as assigned to contribute to achieving the department's business objectives

Qualifications and Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in a consumer or businessoriented communications environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong computer skills including Internet, Outlook, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organization, time and project management skills
  • Strong research ability and experience
  • Possess ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize
  • Great attention to details
  • Familiarity with tools such as Airtable, Canva, etc.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the capacity to communicate via text/messenger
  • Selfstarter with the ability to prioritize and work proactively in a fast paced, high volume, creative and deadlineoriented environment with the ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround
  • Experience working with highlevel executives and maintaining the utmost of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and dealing with professionals inside and outside the company
  • A passion for entertainment industry

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations or similar discipline is preferred

Compensation
- $85,000 - $95,000
