JOB OVERVIEW


The Automotive Inventory Administrative Assistant will serve in a cross-functional capacity, assisting the Vehicle Processing Manager of Benzel-Busch in driving continuous and sustained improvement in the daily operations of the dealership's Variable Department.


As the Automotive Inventory Assistant, you will support the Inventory Manager in maintaining an accurate and well-organized inventory of vehicles.

Additionally, you will be responsible for providing backup support to the billing and DMV departments, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our dealership.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Tasks:


  • Handle administrative tasks related to inventory management, including data entry, recordkeeping, and report generation.
  • Assist in the organization and filing of relevant paperwork and documents.
  • Respond to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders regarding inventory status.

Billing and DMV Support:


  • Serve as a backup resource for the billing and DMV department during peak periods or when team members are absent.
  • Assist with processing invoices, registrations, and other paperwork related to vehicle sales and transfers.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines in the billing and DMV processes.

Communication and Teamwork:


  • Collaborate with the Inventory Manager, as well as other departments, to streamline processes and address any inventory or administrativerelated issues.
  • Maintain effective communication with colleagues, providing timely updates and information as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant administrative or automotive industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of DMV and billing procedures in the automotive industry is a bonus.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Must be capable of dissecting complex problems and breaking them it simplified, digestible pieces

Must be able to work flexible hours/work schedule

Work Holidays when required; Work weekends when required.
