- BA/BS degree preferred.
- 4+ years of litigation experience.
- Solid understanding of court rules, procedures and calendaring.
- Experienced with Federal and California e-filing procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
- NetDocuments and Bill4Time knowledge a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure, self-reliant and can prioritize workload.
- Problem solver and resourceful.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.

Job DescriptionWe are a boutique law firm in Downtown Oakland looking for an experienced Litigation Assistant who can thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities include: preparing correspondence, legal documents, pleadings, discovery, etc.; e-filing with various state and federal courts; calendaring; organizing and maintaining case files and trial binders; planning and coordinating depositions and meeting logistics; travel arrangements; answering phones; preparing expense reports; and other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
This is a full-time position (40 hours/week), in the office, with occasional overtime. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits.
