    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Minimum 3 years related experience (accounting, analysis, logistics)
    • Detailoriented, reliable, accountable, and a teamplayer
    • Excellent organization and customerservice skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
    • Agricultural experience is preferred
    • Ability to work overtime hours as needed
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to understand business and operate business systems

    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Ag Employer with their search for a Trader Assistant. The Trader Assistant will support the commodity trading business unit from an administrative function.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; contract entry and application, accounts payable and receivable, freight processing and brokerage utilizing the accounting software, Agris, and inventory reconciliation.


    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain ticket application, which includes contract execution and maintenance
    • Accurate processing and settlement of commodities
    • Managing paperwork including, accurately matching freight bills/weight certificates for further processing
    • Handle accounting functions related to trading business including:
    • Accounts Receivable-Accounts Payable
    • Communicating with vendors regarding contract status updates, billing issues, and shipment issues
    • Entering contracts and contract management
    • Processing of freight payables and brokerage associated with commodities
