Position Overview


You will advise the management on their obligations under EU GDPR & other data protection regulations and act as the main point of contact for all related questions.

You will independently monitor all data protection activities and processes and be actively responsible for their planning and control.


Your Responsibilities

  • You ensure compliance with and implementation of EU GDPR and other data protection regulations for defined countries and units
  • You design our data protection management system and are responsible for the development of associated processes
  • You provide training and education on data protection topics to management and employees
  • You assess and manage the impact of data protection risks within the current businessasusual process (BAU) and ensure that risks are within the risk appetite
  • You manage the risk and control selfassessment (RCSA) library to ensure that data protection risks are appropriately identified, assessed, controlled, and reported
  • You support and manage our data protection audits
  • You are the main point of contact for collaboration with external contractors

Your Profile

  • Relevant experience as a data protection officer and expertise in German and European data protection law
  • Excellent process control and coordination skills and consulting competence at all levels of a company
  • Excellent communication skills to build internal and external networks
  • Resultsoriented project management and leadership style
  • Good knowledge of IT security methods (e.g. ISO 27xxx), certifications (e.g. ISO 27xxx, ITIL, CISM) are desirable
