Job Summary:


This role will grow and advance in responsibilities as our small company grows, so it is meant for an individual with a growth mindset, who welcomes change, is capable of taking on added responsibilities and sees themselves remaining with our company for multiple years.

This role works directly under the owner as her "Right Hand," completing mission critical tasks for both the internal operations of the company and crucial client fulfillment tasks that will drive growth and help build, engage, and elevate a winning team.

This role is for an exceptional individual who has experience handling important internal tasks and leading a team through a time of growth and change.

You will be integrating new team members often while continuing to drive, elevate and create leadership within the existing team.


Day to day constructs of the role include weekly management within our project management software to ensure tasks and timelines are on track for delivering a high level of service to clients related to company offerings; consultations, designs and installations of new gardens.


This role is a mix of remote work and on-site work throughout the greater Austin area and requires regular commutes to south Austin, Buda/Kyle and/or Wimberley areas.


This role requires the ability for a high level of professional communication as you will be representing the company to subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

This role will also help the owner in tasks related to strategy, marketing, and growth.

Someone focused on working effectively, following the company processes, being highly responsive and dedicated to the success of the company and our clients is required.


Responsibilities:


  • Ability to be highly communicative, highly detailoriented, organized, work within existing systems and take initiative in making them better.
  • Project management to meet deadlines, follow up with teammates and keep the operation on track.
  • Document creation including contracts and proposal presentations using Canva, Word, Google Docs, Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Assist with routine human resource tasks such as interviewing, hiring, training and onboarding
  • Lead meetings by creating and updating agendas and keeping the conversation on track to accomplish the agenda
  • Tracking company wide metrics for all teams and individuals and reporting these to Owner on a regular basis
  • Assist in strategic and managerial decision making by tracking, reviewing, reporting on company financials.
  • Regular external communication with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients as it relates to sales and fulfillment activities.
  • Regular internal communication with the team to ensure everyone is striving to meet the company vision and goals.
  • Stay in touch on an ongoing basis with payroll provider/bookkeeper regarding all HR and related documentation, communications and objectives that must be completed and ensure we are on time, accurate and complete in all areas
  • Assist with garden crew scheduling and all materials, tools, supplies and logistics to ensure a bestinclass customer experience during garden maintenance and installations.

Requirements (and expected proficiencies to excel in this role):

  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Resourceful, able to work independently, extremely detailoriented, highly communicative, proactive nature
  • A full work from home set up including computer or laptop with a mouse, printer, reliable internet, in a quiet space suitable for focus work. Company will not initially provide office equipment.
  • 2 (minimum) combined years of administrative, executive support, project management and/or office management experience
  • 2 (minimum) years of customer service experience
  • Clean criminal background check
