Responsibilities
- Lead the Fire Protection practice including technical delivery staffing performance management and long-term strategic planning
- Establish and implement practice-wide standards processes quality assurance procedures project teams guidance on fire protection engineering design code consulting life safety assessments system evaluation executive leadership annual goals revenue targets market strategies business development plan expand firm presence target markets identify pursue secure new project opportunities networking presentations proposals strategic partnerships go/no-go decisions proposal strategies fee development major pursuits industry conferences trade shows brand visibility white papers webinars case studies speaking engagements monitor industry trends competitor activity market conditions marketing priorities service positioning digital content focused on fire protection services solicit monthly performance feedback identify client needs next project annual business development plan sales target Regional Practice Leader annual market research preparation for annual business plan development regional office forums KCI representation technical industry community organizations oversee planning design review of fire alarm suppression life safety compliance projects expert-level guidance NFPA codes IBCIFC requirements quality control reviews technical excellence compliance with industry standards complex challenges resolution client concerns all projects timely within budget high level scope financial lead negotiations contract terms scopes fees clients subconsultants project schedule development inception completion projects within Practice periodic financial reports operate corporate or project budget parameters unbilled work authorizations forward Regional Practice Leader operations manager weekly new project budget data monthly cash management comments Finance Project Management Office mentor staff training professional skills lead recruiting retention efforts attract retain top talent assigned staff develop timely employee performance appraisals assigned staff comply KCI policies procedures ensure Quality Management System compliance requirements participate contribute applicable regional office forums represent KCI at events.
