We Require

  • Two years of clerical accounting, bookkeeping, or specialized administrative experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Postsecondary education may substitute for the minimum experience on a yearforyear basis
We Also Value

  • Experience in medical billing procedures
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish
Job Contributions

  • Identify, develop, and recommend new or revised processes
  • Initiate correction of errors as they are discovered
  • Prepare and maintain claims files
  • Stay within budget limits to be costeffective
  • Type, file, photocopy, scan, and fax of miscellaneous documents
  • Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with coworkers and customers using principles of good customer service
  • Work directly with crime victims
Working Conditions

  • High volume, fastpaced office environment
  • Requires long periods of sitting while completing paperwork and computer activities
  • Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 20 pounds
Selection ProcedureMust pass a pre-employment background and/or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive
