Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director to join our Hospice team. The Medical Director will oversee the medical operations, provide leadership, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.


Duties:

• Develop and implement medical policies and procedures
• Provide clinical oversight and guidance to medical staff
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
• Participate in clinical trials and research activities
• Manage utilization and medical management processes
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
• Conduct budgeting and resource allocation for medical services

Requirements:

• Medical degree with active state medical license
• Admitting privileges to local hospital
• Proven experience in managed care and medical management
• Strong knowledge of utilization management principles
• Familiarity with primary care systems and clinical trials
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize patient care and safety
