Job Summary:

Dajac is looking for an ambitious, outgoing and energetic Field Support Technician.

The primary duties for this position are to provide technical support and training for customers both, in factories on-site and in-office.

If you have an interest in IT, IT support, desktop support, customer support, CompTIA and system administration, you will enjoy this job

Customer locations range from within driving distance to international.

The amount of travel will vary according to customer needs, but will be roughly 40% - 50% per year and typically home on weekends.

While advanced scheduling is the goal, trips can be short notice. You must be flexible.


Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite and inoffice technical support to customers.
• Work with customers to configure Dajac equipment for new assembly lines.
• Travel roughly 40% 50% of the year to support customers onsite.
• Create training material.
• Train users.
• Document support processes.
• Communicate with management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good customer skills with a desire to please.
• Enjoy traveling.
• Resourceful
• Mechanically inclined.
• Logical minded.
• Computer savvy. (change Windows settings, configure a network, use the command line, install software, configure software, etc.).
• Good typing skills.

Work Environment:

• Must be willing to relocate within 60 miles of Dajac's corporate office in Sheridan, IN.
• Work at the corporate office when not traveling.

Education and Work Experience:

• No degree is required.
• This position is ideal for a 2 year technical degree or equivalent, especially in the IT field.

Other Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a car and auto insurance.

Pay:
$45, $55,000.00 per year
