Dispatcher - Route Scheduler - East Orange, United States - BOLD DISPOSAL

Description

• Receive calls and record enter orders in the system
• Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
• Receive and dispatch orders
• Prioritize jobs according to urgency and importance
• Use phone or computer to dispatch vehicles to appropriate locations
• Monitor the route and status of trucks to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
• Provide drivers with information about orders, traffic, dump facilities etc.
• Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information

• Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position
• Techsavvy with knowledge of relevant methods
• Knowledge of the roll off industry
• Proficient in English (oral and written)
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
• High school diploma

• Paid time off

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Dispatching: 2 years (required)
