    Description
    Summary/Objective


    Follows established software engineering processes and works from established requirements to test and/or develop software components, subsystems, and system enhancements to support staff.

    This is a year round position.

    Essential Functions

    Assisting with all aspects of software design and development

    Developing innovative solutions

    Writing and maintaining code

    Troubleshooting software issues

    Creating and conducting development tests

    Working with the Integration and Test team to resolve issues

    Participating in code reviews

    Continually improving software development skills

    Generating and maintaining project documentation

    Specific Skills

    Strong analytical skills

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.

    Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.

    Windows development experience

    Understanding of software development lifecycle (i.e., requirements, design, code, and test)

    Object Orientated programming experience (e.g., Java, C++, C#, JavaScript)

    Required Education/Certifications


    Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program majoring in Computer Science or a related field with a graduation date of December 2024 or beyond.
