Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Dance Teacher proficient in Jazz, Hip Hop, and/or Pilates to join our team.

As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging and effective lesson plans, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and guiding students of various skill levels in mastering techniques and routines.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive lesson plans that cater to students of different ages and skill levels, focusing on Jazz, Hip Hop, and/or Pilates techniques.
• Teach and demonstrate proper dance techniques, including body alignment, movement dynamics, and musicality.
• Choreograph routines for performances & recitals
• Provide constructive feedback and individualized coaching to students to help them improve their skills and reach their full potential.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated, challenged, and empowered to express themselves through dance.
• Collaborate with other dance instructors and staff members to coordinate class schedules, rehearsals, and events.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding class schedules, progress reports, and performance opportunities.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students during classes and rehearsals, adhering to established safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Dance Teacher or Instructor, with expertise in teaching Jazz, Hip Hop, and/or Pilates.
• Strong proficiency in choreography, dance technique, and performance skills in Jazz and Hip Hop styles.
• Previous experience as a Pilates instructor with a solid understanding of Pilates principles and exercises. (Pilates or Group Fitness certification prefered but not required).
• Fingerprint Clearance Card through AZ DPS (required)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students of all ages and backgrounds.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods and techniques to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• CPR and first aid certification (preferred).
• Passion for dance education and fostering creativity
