Tasks

The sales department is planning the implementation of a new customer portal and the introduction of customer apps. The entire company is preparing for the introduction of the new cloud generation of Office365 products. The Dortmund Network Company is planning to introduce a new warehouse logistics system for the network operation (electricity, gas, water networks).

Our dual students* support the project management in the IT department in handling various projects for different departments, allowing them to apply their theoretical knowledge in project management directly to practice.

They support the "Enterprise Application Management" department in planning and creating infrastructure and application maps, as well as the "IT Compliance" department in the project business by examining IT security aspects for new software and related processes.

In the "Service Management" department, dual students* are involved in problem solving and supporting IT-related inquiries from departments in collaboration with DEW21's IT service providers.

As part of the project work, you will become an expert in processes in the areas of sales, finance, technology/networks, and personnel, and you will continuously stay up-to-date in terms of "IT".

Dual students* are an important part of our IT teams from the beginning. They work closely and goal-oriented with IT colleagues and employees from the relevant departments for each task. DEW21 provides a modern IT workplace for this purpose.
