Job Summary:
Under supervision of the operations supervisor and Quality Assurance Supervisor, in compliance with the Care Plasma Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and State/Federal regulations, the Employee will determine donor suitability for Plasmapheresis.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide quality customer service by responding to donor needs and expectations in a professional and efficient manner.
- Maintain certification and annual recertification requirements of the Care Plasma Training program.
- Knowledgeable in state and Federal regulations, FDA approved SOP's, EMEA, OSHA, CLIA, cGMP and all internal Care Plasma Policies.
- Maintain all donor files and records in an organized and efficient manner.
- Attend all staff meetings and training sessions.
- Perform vital signs, finger stick and determine hematocrit and total protein values.
- Determine donor suitability based upon collected data in records, SOP and other regulatory agencies.
- Assist in installation and validation of new equipment and following repairs.
- Prepare applicant donors for physical examination.
- Perform final quality control check of records and print bleed labels.
- Ensure concurrent, legible and accurate documentation.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner and report all equipment in need of repair.
- Report all unsafe situations to the supervisor immediately.
- Provide training, documentation of training records and administration of exams to the Donor processor.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/equivalent.
- Must have good oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
- Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs and rarely 50 lbs.
Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour
