We are looking for you as:
Bookseller (m/f/d) part-time


Starting date:

Immediately


Working hours/week:

24.0 hours


Location:

Alzey


Your responsibilities:


  • Customer consultation and title research in various databases
  • Sales of books as well as complementary products such as press, gifts, postcards, calendars, etc.
  • Presentation and decoration of merchandise as well as window displays
  • Assisting with purchasing and optimizing the assortment in collaboration with central purchasing departments and attending trade fairs
  • Cashier duties such as handling transactions and reconciling accounts
  • Processing incoming merchandise, returns, schedules, and accounts
  • Organizing readings and events

Your qualifications:


  • Interest and passion for books and retail, enjoyment of reading, and enthusiasm for literature
  • Sociable and approachable with a friendly and wellgroomed appearance
  • Team spirit and reliability
  • Initiative and ability to work independently
  • Experience in retail
  • Convincing work references
