Position Summary:
The Irrigation Inspector role is responsible for performing site inspection reports identifying leaks/issues/areas for improvement and to help ensure that our clients irrigation systems are functioning properly and efficiently.
This role is great for anyone who is tech savvy, organized, loves to be outdoors on their feet and is interested in water conservation.
This is also a great entry role on the path to the irrigation technician position.Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections using the Weathermatic Smartlink system
- Identify and diagnose irrigation system issues
- Develop proposals for repairs and improvements
- Dispatch repair crews to perform necessary repairs
- Ensure that all irrigation systems are functioning properly and efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections, proposals and repairs
Requirements:
- Positive, teamplayer attitude
- Aptitude for modern cell phone apps and basic computer programs
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Strong problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to be on feet all day during site inspections
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Helpful but not necessary:
- Experience in landscape/irrigation business (_If not experienced you better be interested_)
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems
- Knowledge of the Weathermatic Smartlink system
- Bilingual in English & Spanish
