    We have a great opportunity for a

    Principal Software Engineer

    to join our team in the Fidelity Brokerage Technology organization (FBT).

    You will work as part of a new team developing performance measurement and analysis software for Custom Separately Managed Accounts (CSMA), which is a highly strategic initiative in our Fidelity Institutional Wealth Management area.

    Our development teams are highly collaborative and encourage creativity, innovation, and excellence. Your experience, skills, and input will be critical to our shared success.

    The Expertise We're Looking For:
    Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required with minimum 8+ years of design and development experience
    Strong experience with these database technologies – Snowflake, Oracle
    Experience in Object-Oriented Software development with Java and/or Python
    Hands on experience with Spark (Java or Scala), use of AWS EMR as the infrastructure for execution both an advantage
    Experience in Cloud technologies (AWS), including Docker and EKS
    Experience building scalable and robust ETL data flows
    Strong design and analysis skills for a large data platform
    Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Terraform, Docker)
    Experience of working within an agile scrum development environment
    Strong technical leadership experience

    in leading and mentoring scrum teams focused on building software solutions for business critical applications. The teams you have worked with have multi-functional responsibilities such as engineering, quality and release implementation
    Strong communication skills and technical expertise

    to drive and participate in meaningful discussions with partners across business and architecture
    Strategic thinking and critical problem-solving skills
    Proven track record of product delivery
    Financial Services industry experience preferred but not essential

    Technical leadership of your team in all facets of the software delivery process
    Proactively partner with product owners, technologists, architects and chapter leaders, as required, to influence, shape and drive technical developments on the product and platform, and to

    set and apply standards

    To design and build scalable solutions
    Develop a keen understanding of the business domain you are working on and actively participate in technology discussions with business partners and other parties
    Communicate effectively in a team-oriented environment
    Build positive relationships within and across teams
    To stay on top of latest trends and thrive by actively sharing insights, knowledge, industry practices and developments within and across teams

    The Performance Measurement & Analysis area is an integral part of the broader FI Wealth Management Domain, which is dedicated to the creation and support of performance measurement and analysis software for our products.

    As a vital member of this dynamic team, your role within FBT will focus on providing technical leadership and expertise within the team.
