Job Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals.

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in need, helping them lead fulfilling lives.

Duties:

• Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, house chores and medication reminders
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs
• Implement behavior management strategies as needed
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for individuals
• Advocate for resident rights and promote independence
• Document observations and report any changes in condition to the appropriate personnel

Experience:

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as intellectual disability care, hospice care, home care, nursing home care or senior care is preferred
• Knowledge of first aid procedures is a plus
• Experience with completing MAR
• Medication Management
• Ability to drive and possess a valid driver's license
