    Description
    Acctpositions - Our Client a leading consumer product company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the company. The role will work directly with the Controller and the CFO. The company offers an opportunity for advancement, solid benefits and a healthy bonus.


    Responsibilities include:

    Assist in the preparation of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and year end basis Prepare journal entries and assist with the month-end and year-end closings Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for management Assist in analyzing inventory variances and trends Assist in the preparation of expense budgets and budget versus actual variance analysis.

    Review daily bank activity for accuracy Prepare and reconcile monthly bank reconciliations Analyze gross profit reports for monthly reporting package Assist with year-end certified audit requirements by investigating and resolving audit findings Prepare and file multi-state sales and use tax returns Assist with additional analysis, tasks and special projects as needed Qualifications Include:


    • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting along with 5 years of relevant experience
    • Experience in wholesale, distribution, or manufacturing strongly preferred
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi task
    • ERP and Strong MS Excel IND456
